The New "Business-Casual"

Thanks to COVID-19 and the "Stay at Home" order, we've had a little time to evaluate inventory and our business plan, mostly from the comforts of home (not that our shop, Madison Made, isn't comforting, because we definitely feel like it is.)  Being at home more, we've noticed things have continuously moved toward a more casual dress code, typically t-shirt and shorts/sweats/leggings.  It seems that's one of the benefits of owning a t-shirt business, we do plenty of "sampling" of the merchandise, especially on laundry day.

For our children, this change in dress code has become basically anything in their closet, including Christmas dresses from 2 years ago for our 5 and 6 year old daughters, but per our new parenting motto, we allow it.

We have begun to expand our line of leggings and joggers, somewhat to encourage creativity and fun in the shop, but also out of necessity for our home "dress code".  Working from home seems to have it's advantages, especially in the wardrobe department.  From button-ups and dress pants to t-shirts and leggings, I think we can all at least occasionally appreciate the new "business-casual".

We'd like to invite you to shop our line of "Madison-inspired" products.  Whether you are able to work for home, or just need something soft and comfortable to sink into at the end of a long day of being essential in the workforce, we have something for everyone.

If you have any questions or interests in our products, please feel free to contact us.  We'll get right back to you, from our kitchen table or couch, at least for now.

Thanks for all the support.  Like most small town/local businesses, it means everything.  We will continue our "Free Shipping" offer during this time, that extends to everywhere in the continental US, not just locally to Madison, Indiana.
